Dear brewer,
I am offered many products throughout the year.
The vast majority never become part of Lund Teknik's product range.
Not because they are necessarily bad.
But because they don't add anything new.
I felt the same way the first time I heard about EcoreKeg.
"Another barrel..." I thought.
But I was mistaken.
It wasn't the dish that convinced me
That was the idea.
In a traditional cask, the propellant gas comes into contact with the beer.
In EcoreKeg, the beer is protected in a food-grade inner bag.
The propellant is on the outside of the bag.
The two never meet.
This means that you can apply COâ‚‚, compressed air, nitrogen or other suitable propellants, without affecting the beer's taste, aroma or carbonation.
I actually think that's a really elegant solution.
Then I saw the 5-litre version...
...and then the last piece fell into place.
It comes with an insulated bag.
But it's not just made for transport.
The clever thing is that the keg stays in the bag throughout the serving.
You simply open the zip at the top.
Mounting the hand pump.
Give a couple of pumps.
And then you're ready to tap.
The bag wraps around the cooler and helps keep the beer cool while you serve.
The small detail makes a surprisingly big difference.
Imagine a summer evening
The barbecue is lit.
The table is laid.
The friends have gathered.
On the table stands the insulated EcoreKeg bag.
Not a large COâ‚‚ bottle.
No snakes.
Not regulators.
You only open the bag at the top, attach the hand pump and pour the first glass.
The keg stays in the bag.
The beer is keeping its temperature.
And the only thing your guests will notice is the good homemade brew.
This is exactly how serving should be.
Therefore, we have brought EcoreKeg home
I don't think EcoreKeg is going to replace all other keg systems.
But I think it gives home brewers a new and more flexible option.
Therefore, we have chosen to stock the entire range.
- 5 litres EcoreKeg
- 20 litres EcoreKeg
- Pose
- Hand pumps
- Electric air pumps
- Racking and tapping equipment
- Insulated bags
- Tool
- Spare parts
In short, everything you need.
If I were to fill the first EcoreKeg...
...the choice would be easy.
Nimbus Saison Michelle
Ours Beer of the Month.

A classic Belgian Saison with fresh fruitiness, fine spicy notes and a dry finish.
It is made for long summer evenings.
The warmer you ferment it, the stronger the yeast notes will be, so there's no excuse for it being too hot to brew.
And I actually think it deserves to be served from a system that is as well-thought-out as the brewing itself.
I hope you'd like to take a closer look
Perhaps EcoreKeg will also be the way you serve your homebrew in the future.
If you have any questions, you are, as always, very welcome to contact me.
We are happy to help you find the solution that best suits your brewery. |
